Room was pretty small. But it served its purpose. Only stayed 1 night. Walls/door does not keep noise in. You can hear a normal conversation down the hall. Hallways are also small. Only 1 elevator was working. Front desk staff was very nice and friendly. Valet parking was $83. Breakfast was a variety of items. Hotel was near subway station and other sites we wanted to visit. Cleanliness in the room was a 4/5.

I cannot express enough how happy we were at out Hotel Hampton Inn Chelsea, all the staff super friendly and prompt to ask if we needed something else and were always helping us out.The front desk ladies were there with a welcoming smile and they were above and beyond. super clean room, with a view, also we had complimentary breakfast featuring omelettes, bacon, sausage, waffles and pancakes on demand and of course cereals coffee, juice, yogurt, the works!!!!

This is a hotel that is centrally located in Manhattan. That and its incredibly courteous staff are all it has going for it. The hotel is old and busted. Rooms are tiny and disgusting. The tall mirror had some white crusted substance on it.... you can be creative in guessing what that was. The carpeting was dirty and sticky I wore shoes in the room the entire time I was in it. This hotel needs to step it up in cleanliness and it will definitely be earning more stars in its ratings and more money. I'm sure I'll get a canned insincere response from the hotel, but judging from the other reviews and other canned responses and there being no evidence of any improvement in the cleanliness of the hotel, I encourage everyone to be careful when booking this hotel.

Overall our stay here was fine. I’m not an uptight person by any means, but there’s definitely a couple things worth noting and there was more good than bad. First, the room was a good size and it had a great view of downtown! Our A/C worked perfectly and the room was relatively clean- maybe like a 3.5/5. The mirror in our room was extremely dirty, like had dark brown stains all over it that looked like coffee or…something else. The floor had crumbs and stains on it as well but really nothing serious. The bed was comfortable but we did have to get extra pillows as the ones in the room are not great. The front desk people were quick and helpful- not the most professional but we were able to check in, drop off luggage and the car in about 5 minutes! The real reason for the 3/5 stars is because of the noise in the morning. At about 6 am (the first time it woke me up at least) the LOUDEST banging started and we couldn’t fall back asleep. around 7:30 they banged on our door and tried to open it even though we had the do not disturb sign on the door. This was just annoying because we went to a concert the night before and didn’t get back in until late. Don’t know if I could stay here again solely because of the noise, thank god we were only here one night.

El último día, con actividades programadas porque nuestro avión salía a las 10 de la noche, hacemos el check out del hotel a las 11 y nos dice la recepcionista que no se puede quedar con nuestras maletas. Estuvimos 8 horas tirados por NY sin poder hacer nada, con las maletas a cuesta. Lamentable servicio.

Buen hotel con ubicación excelente y un desayuno variado y abundante. La chica de la recepción, Julia, muy simpática y además habla español. Nos guardaron las maletas sin problema hasta la tarde que era nuestro vuelo. Un buen lugar teniendo en cuenta los precios desorbitados de los hoteles de Nueva York

The staff was fantastic, Mary and everybody at the front desk were SO accommodating. Housekeeping was prompt and friendly. The location is great, just one block west of Madison Square. I only wish that the owners would make the investments to maintain and upgrade the hotel. It is tired and things like the elevators and AC weren’t working properly. The maintenance is defiantly NOT up to the level of other Hampton Inns! That said, we will be back on our next trip to Manhattan.

We stayed here in January 2020- just a few weeks before all of our World’s changed with the Pandemic. The staff were friendly and very helpful with directions and attractions. This location is very centrally located especially if you bring your sneakers. We walked all over up to Times Square and down to the financial district and the 911 Memorial. We used the coffee tea station each day and saw the Hampton Inn breakfast each morning. I would highly recommend this hotel- especially if you like Hampton Inn!

The front staff is super friendly and helpful. Whether reviewers of this hotel like it or not, you will see that same comment. In my opinion, that makes for a much better stay. Stayed here with my family of four that comes to the city often. The room is good sized for NYC. The location is convenient. The fridge is helpful. While the room is not new and stellar, this place is a good value and stress-free.

I stayed here in March 2022 and overall the hotel met all my expectations. The location is good, close to some major subway lines. The hotel room has a good size and is well appointed, as you would expect for a Hampton Inn. The hotel has some truly kind and helpful staff members, who should be commented for their exemplary service. Breakfast in the morning is nothing to call home about, but there is plenty and if you aren't looking for culinary delights, you will have a good start to the day. I did however find it disappointing, that housekeeping would only service my room once during the stay. That came as a bit of a surprise, but isn't a bog problem to be fair. It should just be advertised better. With reduced room cleaning, they should offer bigger waste receptacles or at least offer an easy to reach alternative on every floor. Overall, I would stay here again, without a doubt.

Está bien ubicado y es limpio y prolijo. El costo normal. Tiene café y te todo el día. El inconveniente es el espacio para el desayuno es chico en relación a la cantidad de pasajeros que aloja y el desayuno es muy pobre.
