“We loved this place so much that we want to come back to Cape Town just to stay at this place. The staff were genuinely lovely and hospitable. There were seven of us with two kids and they knew our names, our coffee preferences, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. The rooms were updated with modern amenities and very clean. The food was amazing. We travel all over the world in 5 star hotels and it was by far the best food we've had for breakfast and dinner. It's hard to do a breakfast buffet well, but they did. We looked forward to breakfast every day.
It was our first visit to Cape Town and the staff here made us love Cape Town even more. We will be back and tell all our friends to stay at the Mount Nelson.”

“Old French style meets Dutch is the feeling I got... Lovely service and treats.. Went for a high tea, only fault I can make is that I thought there was a live pianist however I think it was a CD and when it stopped... It didn't go back on🙈 aah well.. Still made for a lovely treat!”
