Superb stay here the weekend before Christmas. My first time in Edinburgh and I really felt at home here which I can only thank the staff for. Quality of breakfast was great, the sleep was peaceful and the care and the facilities were very clean. The walk to town was no more than 15 minutes and it’s a very intuitive route to follow.Thanks to everyone at the Crowne Plaza for an incredible stay. We’re still here and we already miss it! Excelente estadia aqui no fim de semana antes do Natal. Minha primeira vez em Edimburgo e realmente me senti em casa aqui, pelo que só posso agradecer à equipe. A qualidade do café da manhã era ótima, o sono era tranquilo e o atendimento e as instalações eram muito limpos. A caminhada até a cidade não durou mais de 15 minutos e é uma rota muito intuitiva a seguir.Obrigado a todos no Crowne Plaza por uma estadia incrível. Ainda estamos aqui e já estamos com saudades!

Everything about this hotel was great! The location is great, not too far from old town but quiet. Few minutes walk from Carlton hill, where you can see the whole city, amazing views. Very clean, not too expensive! Tasty breakfast! Everyone very helpful, receptionists and amazing barman Diego! Would definitely recommend and go back if travelling to Edinburgh again. Tudo sobre este hotel foi ótimo! A localização é excelente, não muito longe da cidade velha, mas tranquila. A poucos minutos a pé da colina de Carlton, onde você pode ver toda a cidade, vistas incríveis. Muito limpo, não muito caro! Café da manhã gostoso! Todos muito prestativos, recepcionistas e o incrível barman Diego! Definitivamente recomendaria e voltaria se viajar para Edimburgo novamente.

The staff were so pleasant, and helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Our room was spotless, plenty of hot water. Cleaning staff were very obliging. Only complaint was the breakfast room was a little chilly, so food cooled down.

Overall a really enjoyable stay. Hotel location was very attractive and room was lovely and very spacious with a view of the beautiful gardens. Breakfast very good too. Only negative thing was the room was too hot despite presence of air conditioner.

Worst Hotel experience I have encountered ever. We had a reservation made and paid in advance weeks before our stay to guarantee the price. When we were checking in they tried to charge us almost double for each room for the stay. The manager stated the final price is never guaranteed on any reservation and did not honour the price confirmed by email. We also paid for Breakfast on the reservation and was confirmed by email and they also mentioned this was not included. We were 2 families with kids and we were checking in around 9:30 PM, so you can imagine the stress we were in. Eventually we refused to stay and pay double for each room and decided to look for a place to stay elsewhere , but to our complete surprise the manager did not complete the full refund for the reservation and mentioned they will pass the request to the IHG finance group for processing. After a couple of weeks of not hearing back from anybody I decided to open a case with customer relations for a full refund, which took another 2 weeks to be processed after SEVERAL calls to chase. They did not have the refund request in the system from the manager and kept saying I had to contact the hotel directly for a full refund. Is very likely the hotel was oversold for the night and this is why they tried to get the extra cash. I have NEVER had an issue like this before where a price is not honoured from a prepaid hotel reservation. We had to look for a place to stay in the middle of the night which is something very challenging in Edinburgh around summer time. I have been a member of the IHG group for decades and I would NEVER use this hotel brand again. AVOID! Pior experiência de hotel que já encontrei. Eventualmente, nos recusamos a ficar e pagamos o dobro por cada quarto e decidimos procurar um lugar para ficar em outro lugar, mas para nossa completa surpresa, o gerente não concluiu o reembolso total da reserva e mencionou que passará a solicitação ao grupo financeiro do IHG para processamento. Depois de algumas semanas sem receber resposta de ninguém, decidi abrir um caso com as relações com o cliente para obter um reembolso total, que levou mais 2 semanas para ser processado após VÁRIAS ligações para perseguir. Eles não tinham o pedido de reembolso no sistema do gerente e ficavam dizendo que eu tinha que entrar em contato diretamente com o hotel para um reembolso total. É muito provável que o hotel tenha sido vendido em excesso para a noite e é por isso que eles tentaram obter o dinheiro extra. Eu NUNCA tive um problema como esse antes, onde um preço não é honrado em uma reserva de hotel pré-paga. Tivemos que procurar um lugar para ficar no meio da noite, o que é algo muito desafiador em Edimburgo no verão. Sou membro do grupo IHG há décadas e NUNCA mais usaria essa marca de hotel. EVITAR!

Stayed here while visiting family and had a fantastic stay. Our room was on the front of the building which meant we had the most amazing view over the city. It was a decent size with a modern, clean bathroom.The staff were kind and very accommodating.There is no dedicated parking but if you are staying over the weekend and arrive Friday afternoon you can park outside the hotel all weekend for free. hospedado aqui enquanto visita a família e teve uma estadia fantástica. Nosso quarto ficava na frente do prédio, o que significava que tínhamos a vista mais incrível da cidade. Era um tamanho decente com um banheiro moderno e limpo.Os funcionários foram gentis e muito solícitos.Não há estacionamento dedicado, mas se você estiver hospedado no fim de semana e chegar na sexta-feira à tarde, poderá estacionar fora do hotel durante todo o fim de semana gratuitamente.
