“Great place. We were hesitant since this was the oldest dvc resort and had the lowest point cost and most availability, but we would return in a heartbeat. Rooms were large, clean, and beautiful. Staff excellent, grounds immaculate. Amenities abound. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave. The only minor complaint we had was the transportation needs due to the layout of the resort. A car would be helpful, since even though the buses run frequently, they still take a while because they have to stop at quite a few stops within the resort.”

“This was my second time at old Key West and we came back because we loved how the rooms were set up. When we got to our room however our room did not have a door from the living room into the bathroom instead you had to go through the master bedroom into the bathroom. We then found out that some of the rooms that are closer to the pool area were made with this design flaw. Not ideal. We asked to be moved to another one bedroom suite. That one was much better and people in our family could enter the bathroom without going in through the master bedroom. The resort activity center was outstanding! For those non park days there was a lot to do! We enjoyed the pool area the sauna and volleyball courts, The ping-pong table and the pool table and shuffleboard Tennis courts,and the hammocks and we also enjoyed the marshmallow roasting and the convenience of going to Disney springs using a boat shuttle. I really appreciated that all the equipment was in good repair and working perfectly but should I be surprised by the excellence of Disney? The luggage staff was just excellent and super helpful and needs to be acknowledged!”
