“This hotel was a huge disappointment. My family booked enough rooms to accommodate 28 people. Many of us flew in from other states and some drove over four hours to be here for a memorial service for a loved one who passed. We paid for the rooms under one bill, and were treated like trash. I have never had a worse experience at a hotel. First of all when I went to wash my coffee pot I found a maggot on the glass as it fell off into the bathroom sink. I looked under the microwave to try to see where the maggot came from and it was filthy. Another family member found a syringe, condoms, and anal needs in their room. The wife of the hotel manager rushed us out before breakfast was supposed to be over at 9:30 while many children were still eating and fixing food, and the following morning we were threatened to be charged another night for not checking out until 11:10. Our family just spent 2k here to stay at your establishment and you were so rude and disrespectful. If you don't like to be in the service industry then find another career. People deserve to be treated with respect.”

“Do Not patronize this place! The owner is Very Rude and talks to you like you are stupid! He said"we"cant read and thats not his fault. He checked our rooms before he checked us out as if we were kids and damaged the rooms. He counted towels in one room and said its towels missing in this room. I said no one need to steal towels! He checked the other conjoined room and counted the towels and All the towels were accounted for.I asked if this was his policy to check each room before every person leaves and he said no. Then he said well some people.At breakfast he took trash out of the trashcan and said see how people waste this. I have to payfor this to our kids! They didn't even finish their breakfast. They asked for syrup and he asked what was their room number.It was the most Horrible experience I have Ever had at a hotel. He stereotyped us from the moment we walked in. I Will Never Use Red Lion Again! Oh by the way another patron said she was treated unfairly as well.”
