“Lugar muy bonito y limpio pero ante de hacer el check out te empiezan a tocar la puerta como alas 9:30 de la mañana para ver si vas a continuar con la noche o vas hacer el check out muy mala experiencia”
— Luis Bueno
“We went here because our power had been out for days. At 2pm someone was playing loud music with the base way up. Someone in the room above was moving furniture around for about fifteen minutes. The music in the room next door continued until we left to grab dinner and get out for a bit. We came back and there was a party next door. My husband finally called the front desk at 8pm because it kept getting worse. The front desk went up and checked on them and asked if they were alright because there was a noise complaint. After the front desk agent left, someone from that room pounded on our side of the wall and said, “Hey! I just got outta jail, I’m not afraid to go back.” Although it was probably an empty threat, my husband and I left because it just wasn’t worth the risk. The front desk person told us there was nothing he could do and no open rooms were left to switch into. It’s two days later and now the hotel has suddenly charged us an additional $30.00 without warning. We called and the front desk person said they quoted us too little for the room. That’s not what our receipt says - we were quoted and paid $144.90, which isn’t exactly a discount rate. This is ridiculous. The $30 charge was the last straw. We did not leave a mess at all when we left, we did not take anything or do anything to warrant the charge. To be fair, the room was clean. It had a fridge, small electric stove and plenty of cabinets and drawers, if you care about that sort of thing. It had a small relief area for dogs with dog bags. There was no ice machine on the property, and no real toiletries/necessities in the room except for a bar of soap, a small bottle of shampoo and two plastic cups. There was a kitchenette but no items stocked in it, except two empty ice trays in the freezer and a small cutting board. It was minimalist but decent. I would’ve stayed here again, but the noise issues, shady neighbors, and extra charge we did not authorize are too much. But if you’re looking for a place to host a loud party and do whatever else, this may be your place. ****Update on 3/12/21 ****** I absolutely do not agree with your so-called resolution, and I did not speak to you directly. I find your follow up insulting, and my name is not Andrew. I am upset with how you’ve handled and responded to our concerns. You need to enforce your own policies that you force guests to sign, and you need to train your employees to handle noise complaints without identifying that there was a complaint. Anyone with ears could hear the music walking into the hall. Also, you charged us an extra $30 two days later on the grounds that you accidentally charged us too little money. Were you taking advantage of people escaping the electricity outages? Bottom line: We were forced to leave your property the same day we checked in after another guest violated your rules and threatened us. Had your employee handled the situation better, that would not have happened. We decided to return to our cold apartment rather than rush our own safety.”
