Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Zadun, and would likely return. The property is beautiful and well-situated, taking advantage of the hillside to afford excellent views. The staff and service are excellent, as one would expect at this price point. The hotel also does little things like host complimentary stargazing sessions and such to entertain guests, which was very nice. A few notes for people as you make plans: The food throughout the resort is solid, albeit overpriced (also to be expected from the Ritz name). Cocktails are nothing special and priced upwards of $25. This adds up quickly. I might bring a bottle from duty free just for cocktails in the room after beach days. The signature restaurant, Humo, did not impress. For two people to eat here (with two cocktails total and no other alcohol) cost $450. The food was good, but not nearly as good as other places we ate at in the town of San Jose Del Cabo itself for half the price. The restaurant, Equis, was our favorite on property, though El Barrio is also great as the everyday eatery. I felt somewhat misled by pictures of the beautiful beach, given that the water is unswimmable due to rocks on the shoreline. I’m sure this is written somewhere on the website, but I didn’t see it. Granted, this is the case for most of Cabo, so if you want to swim in the ocean, you probably need to stay at the Montage, which was a very similar experience to Zadun, though I don't think the property or views are quite as nice at Montage. Ubers are easy to obtain, so if we went back again, we would probably go this route instead of paying for the car service through the hotel, at least on the way back to the airport. It’s about $30 as opposed to $150, though I did appreciate how easy and luxurious it was to ride in the hotel SUVs, so perhaps I would still buck up for it. At some point, even $100 feels like penny pinching when everything else costs so much. Overall, Zadun offers a fantastic experience--not extraordinary, necessarily, but one commensurate with other properties at a similar price point.

My wife and I visited Zadun for a week in January 2023 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service from arrival to departure was excellent across the entire resort - from our Tosoanis, Mario and Rodrigo, to the restaurant hosts, servers, bartenders, housekeeping, spa, drivers, etc. It's a great place to relax and refresh. Our room was quiet and private with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Staff throughout the resort surprised us with special touches to honor our anniversary several times during our trip. We saw staff surprise and delight other guests who were celebrating birthdays. Like at most Cabo-area resorts, Zadun's beach is not swimmable due to rip tides. There are signs and flags that explain this. The beach is well groomed, though, and great for walking or lounging with a cocktail. We were able to watch whales this time of year from the beach, our room, and around the resort. The resort has multiple pools for lounging, casual swimming, and lap swimming. We used the fitness center's lap pool -- and were the only people in it the two times we used it. We particularly enjoyed the special dinner nights and live entertainment, including the band at Humo ( The Soul Collective), Fish Market at Equis, and Taco Night at Barrio. Our afternoon at the spa was also memorable -- excellent service providers and environment. Food, beverages, and spa services were all on the expensive side, which should be expected at this caliber of resort. We thought the Fish Market and Taco Night were good relative values, whereas the food at Humo was underwhelming, given the cost (but it had excellent ambience and views).

Undoubtedly the best experience at a hotel my family has had EVER. The grounds are beautiful and the design is amazing. The room is simple yet elegant and creates a relaxing and sophisticated environment. Each restaurant on the reserve is delicious and the staff are happy to cater to any/all dietary needs. I loved Humo and enjoyed ordering from Barrio while relaxing at the pool. Honorable mention: the homemade tortillas from Taqueria. All of the staff are engaging, polite, and extremely accommodating and pleasant. I am extremely impressed. Seriously, I could go on and on about the wonderful service at Zadun. Each guest is treated as a valued person and I appreciate how the staff goes above and beyond to make the experience great. I highly recommend the Zadun experiences. They are well-planned and led by wonderful people. I had the joy of taking a hike right outside the reserve. The Nature Ambassador program is something all guests should check out. If you prefer to relax by the pool without kids ;), there is a separate adult pool. I definitely utilized that! Needless to say, Zadun is wonderful and I highly recommend it for you and your loved ones.

Josue was our private assistant. He was the best. Some of my other favorite people I met who treated me special were. Celine and Leslie at the spa. Brenda at the bar served us our favorite Cabernet and chocolate desserts while we watched the beautiful sunset. Javier was a mix master at the bar. Always ready to top off my drink. The chef at the restaurant took the time to grill me a mahi sandwich from fish our friends caught. Marley at the beach greeted us with her sweet smile and took the time to get to know us and of course take care of all our food and cocktail needs. I wish I could remember more names because everyone was so great. The man who trained the canaries was fun and welcoming our first night and of course the room service crew. Loved our breakfast each morning on the patio. Thanks to everyone I’m sorry if I missed your name but you all are a very special group of caring people. Thanks again till we see you again. 😀

The property is outstanding, the room was beautiful, our Tosoani Team (Guillermo & Elizabeth) helped us make this experience memorable by providing everything we asked of them, they did an exceptional job. The breakfast at Barrio daily was amazing, great staff there as well. We did an on-site tequila tasting that was a lot of fun and informative as I didn't know much before the tasting. The only thing I wish was included is house transportation vehicles instead of having to pay to use them for quick trips, with the price tag of this hotel the transportation should be included as an option. Other than that everything was spectacular and I will be returning.

Simply amazing! I needed a break from winter weather and decided to splurge with a weekend here. They do not take points like other Ritz locations but there is a reason in my opinion. The service, location, views and whole experience was phenomenal. My onlY comment is that I should have booked for a longer stay. Go soon.

Omdat alles hier de hemel op aarde was! Kamer is SUPER! Kamers zijn enorm licht, groot en modern met een prachtige view over de zee. Alle comfort is aanwezig. Eigen butler die alles voor je regelt en enorm vriendelijk. Spa is FANTASTISCH. Nog nooit zo mooi en perfect gezien. Zo vredig en mooi! Ook restaurants zijn erg goed .! Super behulpzaam personeel!

The Ritz- Zadun is beyond spectacular. They accommodated us when weather did not permit us to fly out and even on such a short reservation notice, Zadun beyond delivered. Not only is the scenery, rooms and stay beyond luxurious, the staff is beyond compare with their kindness and compassion. Zadun will definitely see us again.
