“Let me start by saying I’m fairly loyal to Marriot and I travel frequently, monthly .
With that said, this hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed. The place is old and it smells.
The pillows are flat and old.
The towels are rough and old. If you do need more towels(5 days at the hotel), good luck to you. The staff does not pick up the phone. You have to walk to the front desk and wait in line to get towels. I was told me follow a gentleman and was handed 4 towels. Yes, I walked away from the front desk with a pile of towels. I was on my way out to dinner and I had to take them with me and carry them to the room after that.
The carpet smells.
The AC does not cool the room during the day. It was noisy, so loud I woke up multiple times.
There was no iron in the room. That has to be requested as well. Which made me late to an appointment with my family.
There is no room service. None.
How do you call yourself a 4 star hotel?
The stay was comparable to a Motel on the side of the road. Poorly managed and with budget cuts showing in all cracks. One would expect more. Specially in Orlando.”
