“Best hotel I've ever stayed at to the date. Rooms have been fully renovated, cozy and decorated beautifuly. Stayed for 9 nights and felt like at home (actually, much better). Hotel's staff, from housekeeping to breakfast waiters, receptionists, security... they're all truly outstanding, and altogether with the modern building and facilities, make this hotel (at least from my experience) one of the best of the Melia hotels network, and surely one of the best, if not the best, in Madrid. Note that some facilities such as the terrace, fitness center and indoor pool are closed due to renovations, but if you enjoy a nice run, the area's just perfect for that, safe and some tranquil residential areas and public parks worth exploring. As well as some good dinning options nearby and the very handy Suanzes metro station (plus you'll enjoy a beautiful walk through the park on your way to it)”

“Melia has always been our hotel choice. We choose to stay in this hotel because it is very near to the embassy and it is in the business district which mean not a touristic hotel (not crowded). This time we choose to stay in level room which comes with a separate dining hall and open to level guests till 11pm which is perfect for us as we usually check in late, and arrive to the hotel hungry and tired. Although the variety of food were not much (tiny sandwiches, cold cuts, cakes, nuts, some fruits, ect) But they do have sufficient selection of drinks from tea, coffee, juices beers and wines. The room however a little let down, the smell of the sewage from the toilet clouded the whole room. They did offer a room change and gave us a key to another room to check if we want to change , but unfortunately the key was not working, so we decided to stay with the same room, as we were just to stay for a night and too tired to move the luggage to a new room. And we thought the smell were due to the turned off ventilation and would go away after a while, but we were wrong. They also run out of slipper and they told us their stock will only arrive another 3 days. I hope they could improve and look into the sewage smell in the room.”
