“Did my birthday staycation, beautiful room with full facilities”

“Booked a Cutler suite for a one night stay with Ascott. Service was OK by the staffs in the hotel and the bed was nicely decorated for birthday. However Suite wise it could have been a better experience. Room was not very clean as the sink still had stains, the toilet had a used hairband near the bathtub, and there was a grain of rice embedded in the sofa. Overall OK with the service but the room was nowhere near what it should be for a 5-star rated venue.
I was also charged incorrectly on the day of check in, and they only notified me to pay the full amount after I requested for late checkout (to no avail). I thought these type of things were not so complicated. Just disappointed.”
