“Our stay here was great. The location is very central and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
I can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat in the hotel.
Teas and coffees in the room, these were restocked daily.
The only thing about this hotel was how dated it is. It is like stepping back into the 90s, which I why I have dropped a star. However, even though the decor is dated, it is very clean. Our room was spacious, with a view over the city. There is also air con which was very welcomed when we were there during the 30 degree heat wave.
Thank you for a lovely stay.”

“I stayed at the Marriott City Centre in Bristol for 3 weeks so take that into account with my review (I had a lot more time to notice the little things). If I’m in Bristol again I would definitely return.
The good: the staff are lovely, the exec lounge is usually well appointed, rooms are large for the uk, and the nightly rate is fair. Beds are comfortable, toiletries provided were great, and the park views lovely. Honestly I’m a bit sad to leave because even with the minor issues I’ll outline the staff are super friendly and always worked to help me out when needed.
The bad: the carpet is dated and threadbare in places. The kitchen and bar close a bit early for my taste. Check the dishes at breakfast, every few days I’d notice a dirty plate or glass.
The ugly: the hotel has a cool terrace, but it’s underutilized. AC in the exec lounge is non existent if it’s super hot.”
